The Architectural Toolkit facilitates the drawing of building plans and elevations. The following options are available on the menu and toolbar:

The Place Symbol function has been replaced by the Block Browser. Select View ► Control Centre and then select the Block Browser tab
Ensure that the drawing units are set to millimetres (mm) before using these toolkit functions. In order to draw house plans, the functions should be executed in order from left to right on the toolbar, or from top to bottom on the menu.
The steps involved in drawing the building are sequential and must be followed for the best results:
Set up the drawing.
Draw the outside walls.
Draw the internal walls.
Add the roof line to the plan.
Place the external door and window symbols.
Add symbols for internal doors and fittings.
Draw the elevations.
Add the roof to the elevations.
Draw the sections.
