Roof Line

Add a roof line to a plan.

This function allows you to add a roof line to a plan, based on the Design Settings. The roof line is used to draw the roof elevation and cross-sections.

Procedure

1. You are prompted to:

Indicate 1st corner of wall (else spacebar to exit)

2. The cursor changes to point snap mode. Click on the first corner of the external walls as shown below:

3. You are prompted to:

Indicate next corner of wall, when done, right click for options (clockwise only)

4. Click on the next external corner in the clockwise direction. Continue to indicate the external corners until you are back at the first corner, and then right-click to display the popup menu.

5. Select the Close option to close the rook line polygon; or the Finish option if you have clicked on the first corner again. The roof line is added to the plan view.
