This option controls the grid settings for the Vertical Alignment, Edge Levels, Cross-Section Editor and Template Editor. It specifies the grid interval in the horizontal and vertical planes as well as the pen to use for the grid.

For example, in the illustration below the grid is set to 5m horizontally and 1m vertically in the template editor.
