Copy

Copy selected entities to the Windows clipboard.

Before using this function, you must select the entities you want to copy to the clipboard using the selection functions.

Procedure

1. Select Edit ► Copy or click the icon in the Main toolbar. Alternatively, press and hold [Ctrl+C] or [Ctrl+Insert] The selected entities are copied to the clipboard in both an internal and image format.

2. The entities on the clipboard can be pasted back into the same or another drawing using the Paste function [Ctrl+V].  An image of the entities can also be pasted into other applications in the same way. The entities are pasted using the top left corner of an imaginary rectangle that encompasses the selection.
