Manually set the view axis angles.

This function allows you to rotate the view direction (view axis) and set the view to a specified angle using the Axis Rotation settings.

The drawing plane is not changed, so until you change it the drawing surface will not face the view direction.

Procedure

The drawing below shows a rectangular block drawing using the SE Isometric view axis.

To manually rotate the view axis:

1. Select  View ► View Direction ► Manual or click on the icon in the View Axis toolbar. The Axis Rotation window displays.

2. Manually set the angles in degrees by typing in the angle; or use the slide to adjust the angle. Alternatively, you can select one of the preset views. The preview window displays the view cube's selected axis rotation, and is updated as changes are made.

3. Select the required angles and click Apply for the changes to be made. The  window remains open so more changes can be made. Alternatively, click OK to accept the changes and close the window.
