Sets default property values for newly created nodes and links.

Option

Description

Maximum Node Depth

Maximum depth at the junction i.e. the distance from the invert to the cover level. If zero, the distance from the invert to the top of the highest connecting link will be used.

Link Roughness

Manning's roughness coefficient.
(Values for closed Conduits)
(Values for open channels)

Link Shape

When a shape is selected from the type list, an appropriate set of edit fields displays for describing the dimensions of that shape.

Max Depth

Length dimensions are in units of metres for SI units and feet for US units. Slope values represent ratios of horizontal to vertical distance.

The choice of flow units determines whether metric (SI) or imperial (US) units are used for all other quantities.

Default values are not automatically adjusted when the unit system is changed from metric (SI) to imperial (US), or vice versa.

When a shape is selected from the list, an appropriate set of edit fields are displayed for describing the dimensions of that shape. Length dimensions are in units of metres for SI units and feet for US units. Slope values represent ratios of horizontal to vertical distance. The Number of Links field specifies how many identical parallel conduits exist between its end nodes.
