Description |
Name |
Enter the PI name. |
Radius |
Enter the horizontal curve radius. The start chainage of the road must be entered as the radius of the first PI. |
TrIn |
Enter the length of the transition curve (Euler spiral/ clothoid) leading into the curve. |
TrOut |
Enter the length of the transition curve (Euler spiral/ clothoid) leading out of the curve. |
Y Co-ord |
Enter the Horizontal coordinate. |
X Co-ord |
Enter the Vertical coordinate |
Offset |
Enter the amount by which the alignment must be offset from the actual centre. This is normally used in cases where the alignment points are not along the centre line of the road but rather at some other point such as the left or right kerb line. Offsets to the left of the alignment are entered as negative numbers, and those to the right as positive numbers. When the alignment is stored or calculated in any way, these offsets are used to determine the correct position of the points along the centre line. |
