Specify the parameters for the Unit Flow analysis.
Option
|
Description |
Level Tolerance |
Determines the tolerance that will be allowed when comparing the incoming and outgoing link levels in each node. |
Proportional Flow Depth |
Determines the maximum flow depth that will be allowed in the links. Usually this will be set to 80%. |
Peak Factor |
Used in conjunction with the attenuation curve to calculate the attenuation at every node in the network. |
Use attenuation curve |
Calculate the peak flow using the attenuation curve. This is the same system used by earlier versions of Civil Designer. |
Peak factor |
Apply a peak factor without attenuation. |
Infiltration |
|
Percentage |
Defines the percentage extra inflow due to stormwater infiltration. The calculated inflows are increased by this factor. |
Pipe Length |
Defines the extra inflow due to stormwater infiltration in litres per second per kilometre of sewer pipe. |
Point Source Inflows |
|
Apply peak factor |
Select this checkbox to apply the peak factor to point source inflows. |
Apply infiltration |
Select this checkbox to also take the point source inflows into account when calculating stormwater infiltration. |
