Attributes list

A list of attributes associated with the block.

Attributes Data

Name

The name of the attribute.

Prompt

The prompt to be displayed for the selected attribute when inserting the block.

Value

The value assigned to the selected attribute.

Fixed Value

The value of the attribute cannot be changed i.e. a part number.

Invisible

The attribute will not be displayed if this checkbox is selected.

Attribute Properties

Text Style

Select a text style to be used to display the attribute values.

Height

The text height for the attribute value text.

Annotative

Select this checkbox to make the attribute value text annotative.

Width Factor

The width factor for the attribute value text.

Rotation

The angle of rotation for the attribute value text.

Alignment

The alignment of the attribute value text.

Layer

The layer the attribute value text will be displayed in.

Pen

The pen of the attribute value text.

Remove

Delete an attribute from a block definition or insert.

Move Up/Move Down

You can re-order the block attributes in a block definition. This will not change the position of the attribute within the block, only the order in which you are prompted to enter values for the block’s attributes when you insert a block.

Apply to All

This option applies all the settings in the block attributes to all the blocks which have already been inserted into the drawing.

All to Sel

This option applies all the settings in the block attributes to selected blocks in the drawing.
