Snaps
Snap modes allow you to move to exact points in the drawing and assist with drawing accurately.
To activate a snap mode:
- Select the draw function and then select Tools ► Snaps, or click the required icon in the Snaps toolbar. Alternatively, press and hold [Shift] while you press the letter key assigned to the snap. The snap activates and the cursor changes to indicate the selected snap. The keys and icons are shown in the tables below along with an explanation on what each snap will snap to.

Centre point of nearest circle entity. |

Nearest centre point. |

Midpoint of nearest entity. |

Ratio of length on entity. |

A grid point. |
A red square displays at the point the cursor will snap to if Visual Snap Mode is on.
