Insert Point

Insert a new point in the active cross-section

This function allows you to insert a new point in the current cross-section. The current cross-section is the line that has been set as Active in the Section Lines.

Procedure

1. You are prompted to:

The first part of the prompt tells you which line is active, in this case Line 1. The offset and elevation of the cursor displays in the Status Bar of the window.

2. Click on a position in the Road Section Editor window and the indicated point is added to the current cross-section with the current offset and elevation.
