Import Cards Cross-Sections

Import ASCII cross-sections in Cards format.

This function allows you to import ASCII cross-sections. You are prompted to choose a file to import, and specify the details of the format of the file.

The data format can be imported in comma-delimited format, as follows:

The data format is normally chainage, offset, elevation.

Procedure

1. The Open window displays so you can select a file to import. The drive and path automatically default to the last used drive and directory for this type of file.

2. The ASCII Cross-Section File Details display. Note the order of the fields in the ASCII delimiter section.

3. Fill in the relevant data and click OK.

4. The ASCII Cross-Section Import Details display.

5. Fill in the relevant data and click OK.
