This function allows you to access to the pipe catalogue. Here you can make changes, such as removing a specific pipe that has been discontinued or adding a new pipe.
Procedure

Material |
Enter a description of the pipe material. |
Class |
Specify the pipe class. |
Maximum Pressure (bar) |
Specify the maximum pressure in bar. |
Nominal Diameter (mm) |
Specify the nominal diameter i.e. the diameter that is used when referring to this size. |
External Diameter (mm) |
Specify the external diameter of the pipe in mm. This value is used in the clashes check and the quantity calculations. |
Internal Diameter (mm) |
Specify the internal diameter of the pipe in mm. This value is used in the calculations. |
Wall Thickness (mm) |
Specify the wall thickness in mm. |
Mass (kg/m) |
Specify the mass of the pipe in kg per m length. |
Roughness (mm) |
Specify the roughness of the pipe in mm. This is used in hydraulic calculations. |
Filter |
The filter option allows you to only view a specific group of pipes in the catalogue, for instance, only the uPVC pipes greater than 200mm and less than 400mm. |

Specify the material to be listed. |
Minimum Diameter (mm) |
Specify the minimum diameter to be listed (optional). |
Maximum Diameter (mm) |
Specify the maximum diameter to be listed (optional). |
Apply Filter |
Click to apply the filter to the catalogue. |
Clear Filter |
Click to reset or clear the filter. |
To add a pipe to the library:
Ensure that you have the manufacturer's specifications on hand and click Add.
A blank copy of the pipe catalogue entry displays.
You can use a filter for viewing purposes. For example, if you want to view only Asbestos Cement pipes to save time scrolling through the database, select Asbestos Cement pipes and click Apply Filter to narrow down your selection.
