The chainage.

Area indicator

Select one of the options from the list:

• Bypass - Will bypass the section altogether.

• Template - A normal template addition.

• No Template - Calculate batters (No template added).

• Base Connection - A dump calculation (Base connection).

• Join Extremes - Forces a join of the layer extremities.

• Dam - A dam calculation.

• Area Calc - An area calculation only.

This will determine the type of areas to be calculated. See Road INDEX Technical for more details.

User code

This entry is not used by any functions and therefore is available for any entry.

Template

Enter the template name/number to use with this section.

Batter Flag

Set to No Batters if batters are present (and will therefore be removed and recalculated when areas are run). Otherwise, set to Has Batters to indicate that no batters are present (and will therefore be added on when areas are run).

Batter slopes - Left and Right cut and fill

Enter the relevant batter slopes as 1 in xx.

Min. batter offsets - Left and Right cut and fill

Enter the minimum offset from the centreline to the relevant batter toe.
