Pipe trench quantities are calculated according to SABS 1200 DB-1989, with bedding, selected backfill and fill material calculated according to the depths specified in the Bedding Class.
Levels for the ground line, intermediate and hard material, are extracted from the DTM surfaces specified in the DTM Surface settings.
Depth increments are measured from the bottom of the trench, as shown in the diagram above.
