External Utilities

Run external programs.

This function allows you to select and run certain external programs, such as Civil Designer's menu and toolbar editors, as well as certain external utilities.

Google Earth must be installed on your system before this option can function correctly.

Procedure

The Tool Selection window displays.

Select the external program to run and click OK. The external program loads.

Option	Description
Utilities
Batch BBF	Convert selected image files into BBF image format.
BMP Geo LO	Convert an image reference file from geo (Lat-Long) coordinates into survey coordinates.
Google Earth Snapshot	Allows you to take an image snapshot from Google Earth. Google Earth must be installed on your system.
Google Earth Grid	Import a DTM grid from Google Earth. Google Earth must be installed on your system.
LIDAR Thinner	Reduce the number of points in a LIDAR survey to a manageable terrain model.
Editors
Accelerator Editor	Edit the accelerator keys.
Digitiser Editor	Edit the digitiser settings.
Linestyle Editor	Edit the line style files.
Menu Editor	Edit the menus.
Palette Editor	Edit the pallete used.
Toolbar Editor	Edit the toolbars.
