Block Name

Enter the name of the block you are creating, or edit the name if an existing block.

Description

Enter a description that you would like to associate with the block.

Annotative

If a block is annotative it is scaled in viewports relative to the viewport scale. Annotative scaling is not applied to “blocks within blocks”, nor is it applied to annotative attributes within annotative blocks.

Selected entities

Keep selection

Select this option is you want the current selection to be retained when the block is created or updated.

Delete selection

Select this option if you want the current selection to be deleted when the block is created or updated.

Replace selection with block insert

Select this option if you want the current selection to be deleted when the block is created or updated, and the block to be inserted into the drawing in place of the selection.
