Use a specified folder for image tiles

Select this checkbox to store all the image tiles in a specific folder.

Folder in which to store image files

Specify which folder should be used to store the image tiles. Click ... to open the standard file browser.

Read image tiles from ECW and MrSID directly...

It is possible to draw ECW and MrSID image files directly, without first creating a BBF file containing the image tiles.

Advantages:

• Less disk space used (no BBF file required).

• No wait for BBF file to be created.

• Allows handling of ECW and MrSID files larger than 2GB.

Disadvantages:

• Redraw of ECW and MrSID images may be slightly slower.
