Erf Numbering and Area Table

Add erf numbers and/or a area table.

This function allows you to add erf numbers to an indicated erven, and optionally calculate the areas of the erven and place these values in a table.

Procedure

1. The Erf Numbering Settings display.

2. Select the options you require and click OK to proceed.

3. You are prompted to:

Position top left corner for table

4. Indicate a suitable position for the top left corner of the area table.

5. You are asked:

• Click Yes to place the erf numbers horizontally.

• Click No to have the erf numbers rotated parallel to the nearest line.

6. You are prompted to:

Indicate erf to be numbered close to line (Spacebar to exit)

7. Click inside an erf close to a boundary line.

8. You are prompted to:

9. Type in a suitable number and press [Enter].

10. The erf is numbered.

11. If you had checked the Write the area in the erf option, the calculated area is written below the erf number.

12. You are prompted to:

Indicate erf to be numbered close to line (Spacebar to exit)

13. Indicate all the additional erven to be numbered. The erf number is automatically incremented.

14. Press [Spacebar] or [Esc] to end the function.

15. The area table is updated, as shown below
