Join Points Manually

Join selected points by entering point numbers.

This function allows you to join coordinate points one by one, by entering the point number.

In the example below, connect coordinate points 10 and 11.

Procedure

If the drawing is not in Surveyor Mode the program displays the following message and exits the function.

If the drawing is not in Surveyor Mode, you can change the coordinate system in Drawing Settings.

  1. You are prompted to:

Click Yes if you want distance and bearing added to the join; or click No if you want just a line joining the points.

  1. You are prompted to:

  1. Type in the name/id of an existing COGO point and press [Enter].

  2. You are prompted to:

  1. Type in the name/id of the existing COGO point you want to join to. If the point can be found, the join is drawn. If the point could not be found an error displays.

  1. The program continues to ask for the next point.

  2. Press [Esc] to cancel the function.
