Shaft list

Select the active shaft definition (the one you want drawn) from this list.

Add

Click to add a new shaft definition.

Remove

Click to delete the active shaft definition. Be aware that there is no undo if you delete a shaft definition by accident.

Draw as

Solid line/Hidden line

Select the style in which to draw the shaft. Refer to the Mechanical Setup Dialog for details on styles.

Open end

Select either of these checkboxes to have the relevant end drawn open-ended.

Spreadsheet

Enter the relevant dimensions (in drawing units) per section to be used when drawing the shaft. You can define up to 20 sections.

You can insert or remove sections by right-clicking on the row heading and selecting one of the options from the popup menu.

L Trim/R Trim columns

Select the trim type for the left and right sides of the section.

Trim Val columns

Enter the trim value (chamfer length or fillet radius).

Diameter

Enter the section diameter

Length

Enter the section length.
