Switch off a layer by indicating an object in that layer.

This function allows you to switch off a layer in a drawing by clicking on an entity. The layer containing the entity is then be switched off.
This is very handy when you receive a complex drawing and only want to view certain sub-sets of the data. You could, for instance, switch off the title block and annotations by clicking on those elements.
Procedure
Click Yes to display information about which layer you have just hidden; or No to hide the layer with no prompt.
Select entity on layer to be hidden (Esc to exit)
Select an object in the layer you want to hide, or press [Esc].
Click Yes to hide the selected layer; or No to do nothing.
