Arc

Draw cut/fill bank lines from an existing arc.

This function allows you to draw cut/fill lines from an existing arc, by indicating the arc and the start and end points of the toe line.

Procedure

1. You are prompted to:

Indicate shoulder arc

2. Select an existing arc.

3. You are prompted to:

Indicate start bank shoulder point

4. Click on the start of the bank shoulder point.

5. You are prompted to:

Indicate start bank toe point

6. Click on the bank toe point opposite the bank start point. This allows you to define the bank start width.

7. You are prompted to:

Indicate end bank shoulder point

8. Click on the end of the bank shoulder.

9. You are prompted to:

Indicate end bank toe point

10. Click on the bank toe point opposite the bank end point. This allows you to define the bank end width.

11. You are asked:

Click Yes to draw the bank on the outside of the arc; or No to draw the bank on the inside of the arc.

12. The bank lines are created as a group so you can move or delete all the lines easily.
