Manhole Conditions

Select the state of the node invert to be used as default for the network. This will be one of the following settings:

• Drop - Links placed at minimum slope.

• Invert - Links placed with incoming and outgoing invert levels common.

• Soffit - Links placed with the inside top of the culvert common.

• 0.075 - An absolute step between the invert levels of the incoming and outgoing links.

Minimum Cover

The minimum distance from the ground line to the top of the link. This value is applied at the beginning and end of each link, according to the value at each node.

Fixed Invert

A fixed invert level can be specified.

Freeboard

A height that the manhole cover must be above the extracted cover level.

Cover Level Lock

Select Lock or Unlock to set the cover level lock. If a cover level is locked, it will not be updated when the Cover Levels are extracted from the DTM surface.

Manhole Type

Select a manhole type to set for the selected nodes. Manhole types are defined in the Default Settings.

Manhole Angle

Select this checkbox to set the node angle of the selected nodes.

Auto

Select this checkbox to align the node at the same angle as the outgoing link.

Angle input field

Enter the angle (in degrees) for the node angle, or use the arrows to increase/decrease the angle. Positive values rotate the node in a counter-clockwise direction, while negative values rotate it in a clockwise direction.
