This page allows you to define the depth-storage curve of the pump sump, as well as the sump depth, initial depth and overflow depth.
The schematic layout on the right-hand side explains measurements. It is not a design guideline.
Option
|
Description |
Depth (m) |
Enter the depth as measured from the sump floor. |
Storage (m3) |
Enter the corresponding volume of water in the sump or pond for the specific depth. |
Sump Depth (m) |
Enter the distance from the floor to the invert of the inlet pipe. |
Initial Depth (m) |
Enter the depth of water in the sump at the beginning of the analysis. |
Overflow Depth (m) |
Enter the distance from the floor to bottom of the overflow. |
If an initial depth wasn't specified, or if it is below the pump switch-off level, the analysis starts with the water depth set on the pump switch-off level.
