This page allows you to define the depth-storage curve of the pump sump, as well as the sump depth, initial depth and overflow depth.

The schematic layout on the right-hand side explains measurements. It is not a design guideline.

Option

Description

Depth (m)

Enter the depth as measured from the sump floor.

Storage (m3)

Enter the corresponding volume of water in the sump or pond for the specific depth.

Sump Depth (m)

Enter the distance from the floor to the invert of the inlet pipe.

Initial Depth (m)

Enter the depth of water in the sump at the beginning of the analysis.

Overflow Depth (m)

Enter the distance from the floor to bottom of the overflow.

If an initial depth wasn't specified, or if it is below the pump switch-off level, the analysis starts with the water depth set on the pump switch-off level.
