Zoom All

Zoom the active viewport to show all visible entities in the drawing.

Zoom All ignores the paper extents (pink dashed lines in the drawing), as well as invisible entities (entities that are in layers where the visibility is set to off).

Procedure

The drawing below has been zoomed into one of the components in the drawing. If you have split the drawing into multiple viewports, you need to click in the viewport you want to zoom to make it the active viewport.

To zoom to view all the visible entities in the drawing:

1. Select View ► Zoom ► Zoom All, or click the icon in the Zooms toolbar. Alternatively, press [Z]+[A]. If you use the keyboard option and press [Z], the pop-up Zoom menu appears. You can now either select the Zoom All option or press [A] to initiate the function.

2. The active viewport zooms to show all the visible entities in the drawing.

Use the Zoom Last function to return to the previous zoom.
