Description

Options

Decimal places

Enter the number of decimal places to use for the coordinate values.

Extra column name

If this field is left empty, a table with three columns will be generated. If you enter a column name,  a table with four columns will be generated, the header of the fourth column taking on the name entered here.

If the Extra column name field is set to Diameter, Dia or Ø, this column is treated as a diameter column, and the diameter of any circle associated with the indicated coordinate position will be inserted into the column.

Labelling

Pick label from drawing

Select this option to have coordinate label IDs taken from the text entity nearest to the coordinate point you indicate (see the note below). You must have created the text labels for every coordinate point you want to add to the table before using this option. In other words, your coordinates must be labelled before you run the Coordinate Table function.

Generate label

Select this option to have coordinate label IDs generated according to the Label field and its settings.

Label

Enter the text to use for coordinate label IDs, if the Generate label option is selected.

Increment

Select this checkbox to have the generated coordinate label ID incremented every time you indicate a point to add to the table. Both alphabetic and numeric portions of the label can be incremented i.e. D42_17 becomes D42_18, MG99 becomes MH00, and MG099 becomes MG100.

Add label at coordinate

Select this checkbox to have the generated coordinate label ID inserted as a text entity at the indicated coordinate.

Add coord value at coordinate

Select this checkbox to have the coordinate value inserted as a text entity at the indicated coordinate.

Format

Select or enter a format for inserted coordinate values. The special entry {X} is replaced with the actual X coordinate, while {Y} is replaced with the actual Y coordinate.
