Join Views

Join two adjacent views.

This function allows you to merge, join, two adjacent views. You are asked to indicate the primary view.

Join Views is the opposite of Split Views.

Procedure

In the example below, you have the following viewport layout.

To join two views:

1. Select View ► Join Views or click the icon in the Misc toolbar.

2. You are prompted to:

Indicate primary view

3. The primary view is the view you want to display when the views have been joined. Click the view you want to be displayed. In this example we have used the top left view (Top view).

4. You are prompted to:

Indicate view to join

5. Click in the view you want to join to the primary view. In this example, we have used the top right view (Front view).

6. The two views you have indicated are now combined into one view, with the view you selected first being displayed.
