Move

Move a selection set by a specified distance in a specified direction.

This function allows you to move selected entities from one position to another by indicating the point to move and the new position for the point.

If the selection set is empty you need to specify the selection set before you continue.

Procedure

1. You are prompted to:

Indicate the source point

2. Position the cursor at a point in the drawing by moving the cursor to the point, jumping to the desired point, or using the snaps to move to the desired source point. Then press [Enter] or click.

3. You are prompted to:

Indicate the destination point

4. Drag the selection set to the destination point or use the snaps or jumps to position the selection on the destination point.

5. Press [Enter] or click to indicate the destination point. The elements are now set in position but remain selected.

6. Press [Esc] to deselect the element.

7. Right-click and select Quit to end the function. Alternatively, press [Esc].
