The value of Knowledge Base training cannot be emphasized enough as a way to enhance your productivity. Gone are the days of boring one-directional courses. Our innovative tuition provides delegates with ample opportunity to practice their new skills in a safe and supportive learning environment. We offer the following types of training:
TYPES OF TRAINING OFFERED
Outcomes Based Training
Our outcomes based training program will show you how to become efficient and productive users of AllyCAD or CIVIL DESIGNER and will teach you how to optimize the powerful functionality of our software. Our courses have been developed in line with our users’ requirements and draw from years of experience in the industry. The outcomes based training is generic in nature and classes are limited to 8 delegates to maximise personal attention. We offer the option of training at one of our venues or in-house.
Project Based Training
We offer focused or specific "project training". This is often the best way to learn the full spectrum of functionality of AllyCAD or CIVIL DESIGNER. Our national training managers have worked on many diverse projects in the design industry using both software programs. This means they have the know-how to train your team on the applications of the software for your current projects. Depending on your requirements, costs will vary.
Custom Based Training
We will gladly discuss any custom training needs on specific aspects of our software and design a tailored training schedule for your company. Depending on your requirements, costs will vary.
Personal One-On-One training
We are happy to organize focused, one-on-one training to maximize your productivity. Please note that the costs for this kind of personalised tuition will be higher than those of the other courses.
PLEASE NOTE:
- Our generic outcomes based training requires your staff to write and pass the exercises given during the course. A comprehensive evaluation of each delegate will be presented to you on completion.
- It is your responsibility to ensure that each delegate is Microsoft Windows literate before they attend
TRAINING VENUES
We can provide training at one of our Training Centres or a venue near you.
Training Centres (Johannesburg, Cape Town, Durban)
We supply all computers, training materials and refreshments for classes of up to 8 delegates from the same or different companies.
In-House and International Training
Training In-house means you supply the venue and computers for up to 8 delegates in a class. We supply the software, trainer, training manuals and data projector. In-House Training is often more economical than using one of our training venues. For international users, we will happily fly our training manager to you. Depending on your requirements, costs will vary.

COURSE INFO AND ACCREDITATION (CPD POINTS)
The following table gives you a breakdown of our generic outcomes based training courses. For South African clients, the particular advantage of doing our courses is that delegates will accumulate CPD points. Continual Professional Development (CPD) points are required to maintain your professional registration status with the Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA).
Courses run typically from 08:30 till 16:30 and include tea, coffee, biscuits as well as an enjoyable lunch.

ISETT SETA ACCREDITATION
All our courses are NQF aligned and accredited through the South African Sector Education and Training Authority, ISETT SETA. Companies can therefore claim back money spent on our courses when they submit their Skills Development Plan to their respective SETA's.

CASH GRANT ASSISTANCE THROUGH DTI
If you are a South African BEE client, you may be unaware that you can apply to the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) for a cash grant for business development services aimed at improving core competencies. Because our training courses qualify as business development services, you would be able to obtain a cash grant to fund them.
