Frequently Asked Questions

How do I authorise the software
Last Updated 3 years ago

The programs use dongles (either a stand-alone or network version) in order to store the authorisation for the program.

Stand-alone dongles are used to authorise a single installation on a single PC. Network dongles are used to authorise a single installation on multiple PCs, and require special software.

In either case there are two ways to authorise the software:

1. Ensure that the stand-alone dongle is plugged in to the local PC, or that a connection can be made to the licence manager running on the network dongle provider PC.

2. Run the program and select File > Security > Authorise.

3. In the displayed dialog either click the Online to carry out authorisation via the Internet or, if no Internet connection is available, click the Save button to create a text file that can be emailed to us.
